Hello how are you?

It's been a while since I wrote to you and thought it was well overdue..

My feet have literally not touched the ground.. I've been having so much fun promoting the single. I love putting my music out there ... I'm really enjoying myself!!

As well as doing interviews and performances for my first single 'Beat Of My Drum', I have been planning my visuals for my second single 'Lucky Day'. Next Wednesday after my chat and performance on Loose Women, Team Ginge fly to New York to work with an amazing director called Stephen Agnew to shoot my second video.

I am beyond excited! I've been speaking to the director at length and I'm so excited to get to America and put all the ideas together and complete my second video. I love my track 'Lucky Day' but wrote it so long ago now, like last February.

It will be nice for me to see it with a video. The song is about a boy not playing along but in the end you win him over and it's your lucky day. You can take it how ever you want though, maybe you won on the scratch cards and so you had a lucky day, that kind of thing. I've never been to New York, I can't tell you how excited I am for us to go and have new adventures…

I loved seeing Paul O'Grady again and performing on his show. We have known Paul for years and he is just lovely and funny! His shows are alway so laid back and it never feels like "Live TV". I did a little acapella part at the beginning of my performance. What was weird is that he films his show in the exact same studio as we filmed 'Popstars: The Rivals' 9 years ago, so I felt like I was stood on the same stage on my own again singing. I loved our performance, me and the dancers just had fun. There was lots of 'Team Gingers' in the house and so the atmosphere was amazing. I loved seeing you and meeting you afterwards.

T4 On The Beach was fun too. I brought my little Ginger friend Tom the Beat Boxer along to perform with us. I met him at a showcase I went to earlier this year and was blown away by his talent. Helped that he had ginger hair and rocked a 'Team Ginge' hoodie well too!

I had to do a very strange thing this week and write my album credits. I got emotional! I was staying in a hotel and when the room service guy brought me my dinner, he asked me if I needed a hug!!!! How cute is that?! Then that made me even more emotional.. So by the time I had my 4am wake up call for Daybreak I was up for a laugh and me and the team were dancing to Beyonce at 5am. The staff there thought were mad, it was so funny! You had to be there…

I've started to film us on our travels so I have loads of footage to look back on. My team are so funny, I need this on tape. We're having such a good time I need to make sure I have this on a file somewhere forever.

I am seriously up against the clock with my album deadline!! Still working on 2 mixes, the're almost done! I have to deliver by Friday or we miss our deadline! I also very last minute (like yesterday) have swapped an album track for a song that is still in demo form - so you can only imagine the label are running round like headless chickens cursing me haha! I really shouldn't laugh but the image is funny isn't it? I have that sense of humour that they call wicked! It's the second track I did with Joseph Mount and it had been playing on my mind for the whole time. I love the song so much I just couldn't not have it on there! I probably shouldn't have left it so last minute but I needed to leave it to the last minute so when I said I wanted it to change I meant it and had no time to change my mind again. Sorry Joseph (I'm saying with a cute don't hate me face). Anyway, I am so happy I changed it and now feel at total peace with my record and I LOVE IT!
