Beat Of LA
So I'm home from my trip to LA. Jet lag included!!! It was
amazing! On the way there I watched the movie 'The Fighter' and it
really put me in the right mind frame for the journey I have in
front of me now. Whenever I feel like my confidence is dipping, I'm
going to remember that movie. I had 2 days rehearsal with the
choreographers and dancers before the shoot which was so much fun.
It was lovely to be back in a dance studio after such a long time.
I learnt some new moves, ragga girl Ginge style, we had such a
laugh!! It was a pleasure to be surrounded by so many talented
people.
So the morning of the video I woke up with serious butterflies,
but as soon as I got to the venue I had my coffee and blasted out
Tinie Tempah's album, the highest it would go. The nerves went and
the day was all about having fun!! The video director Wendy Morgan
was a dream to work with. She is so focused and passionate about
her work that I felt immediately comfortable she had my back and
was excited to be part of the team. She is just as much as a
perfectionist as me so we made a great team. I can't wait to see
the edit this week..
I had the day off on Saturday in LA so me and team Ginge had a sex
in the city day.. Shopping and laughing till we dropped!
Back to London and my interview with Lady Gaga was on MTV. I had
alot of fun filming with her and she played me 3 songs from her new
record. She was really lovely and we chatted for a while. I was
nervous beforehand because presenting is definitely not for me but
chatting to Lady Gaga was something i couldn't turn down. I'm so
glad I did it, but i love my day job, so unless MTV meets Eminem
and asks me along you won't catch me asking the questions
again!
So guys I gotta go, I've got to be up early for a shoot
tomorrow..
